Symposium Tour Addressing the State of Asian American Businesses Continues in Tampa Bay PDF Print E-mail

U.S. Asia Center (USAC) and U.S. Asian Business Council (USABC) continue their multi-city symposium tour in Tampa Bay, Florida to address the state of Asian American and Pacific Islander Businesses in the United States.  The symposium is co-hosted by the Indo-U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce and will take place on November 14 at the Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore.  Registration is open at www.aacctampabay.org.

Multi-city Symposium Tour to Address the State of Asian American Businesses PDF Print E-mail

U.S. Asia Center (USAC) and U.S. Asian Business Council (USABC) will co-host a multi-city symposium tour to address the state of Asian Pacific American Businesses in the United States.  The tour will begin on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 in the city of Las Vegas, Nevada in conjunction with a Citibank conference on business stability.

Source: Korean Embassy in the United StatesOn June 30, 2007, U.S. trade representative Susan C. Schwab and Korea's trade minister Kim Hyun Chong signed the Korea - U.S. Free Trade Agreement - widely referred to as the KORUS FTA - marking the largest free trade agreement for the United States since the signing of the North American Free Trade Agreement in 1992.  The FTA is currently waiting for approval from both countries’ legislatures.
