Mission:
The United States Asia Center (USAC) is a private, non-government affiliated policy think tank based in Washington D.C. dedicated to disseminating the most up-to-date research while publicizing pressing issues facing US-Asia relations and the Asian American community.
USAC functions as a highly credible and neutral portal for researchers, identifies experts in the particular areas addressed and provides information and research to law/policy makers, the media and constituent leaders. By bringing these segments together, USAC provides a forum for dynamic exchange with a new perspective on US-Asia and Asian American relations.
Goals:
- Provide the most current information and identify leading experts on US-Asia and Asian American issues and policies
- Include all Asian nations (as defined by the United Nations) and Asian American groups
- Cover both domestic and international policy and issues
- Provide free information and research to help drive public debate
- Sponsor and co-facilitate projects to promote the economic and political advancement of Asians and Asian Americans
